A Thangka art
exhibition titled "Flavor of the Sun" is displayed in Beijing from Sept. 23 to
Oct. 16 with all delicate works on show by young painters from Pande Dajie
Welfare School of Tibet.
These young
painters have learned the art from the Thangka master Phumtsog
Dorjefor for more than 7 years. The teacher once led his students in
painting and left classical murals in various big monasteries of Tibet, such as Tashihunpo Monastery, the Jokhang Temple and Samye Monastery.
